This document explains how the ParkingUnit.com platform (hereinafter referred to as "we") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. This policy is in compliance with GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, and Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used to remember information between visits — such as language preferences, the content of a booking form, or your login session. Similar technologies also exist (local storage, pixels, server-side identifiers) — we collectively refer to all of these as "cookies".

2. What cookies we use

We divide cookies into four categories according to their purpose and retention period:

A) Strictly necessary cookies (always active)

These cookies are required for the basic functioning of the website. Without them, it is not possible to use the booking form, login, or shopping basket. Consent for these cookies is not required under ePrivacy, as their use constitutes a legitimate interest in ensuring the functionality of the service.

You can change your decision at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of the page. Consent is valid for 12 months, after which we will ask you again.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. Instructions for the most commonly used browsers:

Please note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause certain parts of the website (in particular the booking form and login) to stop functioning.

5. Transfer of data to third parties

Some analytical and marketing cookies transfer data to providers outside the EU (in particular Google and Meta, USA). These providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and comply with the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
