These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Conditions") govern the rights and obligations of the contracting parties arising in connection with the use of the services of the online platform ParkingUnit.com (hereinafter referred to as "Platform"), operated by ParkingUnit (hereinafter referred to as "Operator"), and the user of the service — a traveller booking a parking space (hereinafter referred to as "User").
The Conditions are valid and effective from 1 January 2026. The current version of the Conditions is always available at parkingunit.com/informace/obchodni-podminky/.
1. Introductory Provisions
ParkingUnit.com is an online comparison and booking platform that provides Users with an overview of airport parking offers operated by independent third parties (hereinafter referred to as "Parking Provider") and enables online reservation of parking spaces. The Operator is not a contracting party to the parking service itself — this is provided exclusively by the specific Parking Provider listed in the offer details.
The relationship between the User and the Parking Provider is governed by the general terms and conditions of the respective Provider, or by the conditions stated in the confirmation email (voucher).
2. Contract Formation and Reservation
A reservation is made by completing the booking form on the Platform. The price displayed at the time of submitting the form is final and includes all fees, VAT and the transfer shuttle service (if included in the offer).
The contract between the User and the Parking Provider is concluded upon delivery of the confirmation email containing a voucher with a QR code to the email address provided by the User. The voucher serves as proof of reservation and the User must present it (printed or in a mobile application) upon arrival at the parking facility.
Before submitting the form, the User has the opportunity to review and correct all entered details. The Operator considers the information provided in the reservation to be accurate.
3. Price and Payment Terms
The price is always stated inclusive of VAT (if the Parking Provider is not a VAT payer, this is indicated in the offer details). Prices are calculated based on the arrival and departure date and time entered in the booking form.
Payment is made by one of the following methods:
- Online payment by card (Visa, Mastercard) — immediate reservation, full payment in advance via a payment service provider;
- Payment on site in cash or by card (if the specific Parking Provider allows this) — as indicated in the offer details.
For card payments, the full reservation amount is charged to the User's card immediately upon confirmation. A payment receipt (booking confirmation) is delivered by email. A tax document (invoice) can be requested at [email protected].
4. Cancellation Policy and Reservation Changes
The User may cancel a reservation free of charge no later than 24 hours before the planned arrival time stated in the reservation. If cancelled within this period, the full amount paid will be refunded to the account/card from which the payment was made, within a maximum of 14 days.
If a reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours before the planned arrival, or in the event of a no-show, no refund of the paid amount is due, unless otherwise stated in the conditions of the specific Parking Provider.
Reservation changes (arrival/departure date, vehicle registration number, contact details) can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the planned arrival via the link in the confirmation email. Later changes may be subject to a fee according to the Parking Provider's price list.
5. Rights and Obligations of the User
The User is obliged to:
- provide accurate and complete information when booking (name, email, licence plate number, telephone number);
- arrive at the time stated in the reservation and present a valid voucher;
- follow the instructions of the parking facility staff and comply with the operating regulations;
- promptly notify both the Operator and the Parking Provider of any changes (e.g. flight delay of more than 1 hour, change of licence plate number).
6. Liability of the Operator
The operator of the ParkingUnit.com platform is responsible for the technical operation of the Platform, the correct transmission of the reservation to the Parking Provider and the processing of payment. The Operator is not liable for:
- the quality of the parking service itself and the condition of the parking facility — this responsibility lies with the Parking Provider;
- any damage caused to the User's vehicle during parking (a warranty is provided by the Parking Provider in accordance with its own terms and conditions, and typically also through its insurance);
- delays in shuttle transportation caused by the Parking Provider (complaints in such cases are to be resolved directly with the Provider).
The Operator will always cooperate fully in resolving any complaint between the User and the Parking Provider.
7. Complaints
A complaint may be submitted:
- by email to [email protected];
- via the contact form;
- in writing to the registered address of the Operator.
A complaint will be resolved within a maximum of 30 days of receipt. To expedite the process, we recommend including the reservation number, date and a description of the issue.
8. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution (ADR)
The User — as a consumer — has the right to out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute pursuant to Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection. The body responsible for out-of-court dispute resolution is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz). The online dispute resolution platform is also available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9. Personal Data Protection
The Operator processes the User's personal data in accordance with GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. Detailed information on the processing of personal data, the rights of data subjects and contact details is provided in the Privacy Policy document.
10. Final Provisions
These Conditions and the contractual relationship arising therefrom are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (the Civil Code) and Act No. 634/1992 Coll. (on Consumer Protection). Any disputes between the User and the Operator shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
The Operator reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Conditions. The User will be notified of any changes via the Platform no later than 14 days before the new version takes effect. Conditions in force at the time of submission of the reservation shall apply to already confirmed reservations.
If any provision of these Conditions is invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
