About the Václav Havel airport
Václav Havel airport is the busiest and largest airport in the Czech Republic. In the summer season, about 70 carriers make flights from here to approximately 154 destinations across all continents.
The first time a plane landed here was in 1937. This airport keeps evolving and modernizing. The airport’s name has been changed on the 5th of October 2012 from Ruzyně to Václav Havel airport (in Czech: Letiště Václava Havla), following the Czech Government’s approval from March 2012.
The code PRG continues to be used on the tickets.
